Brown Eyed Girls' GA-IN to release sophomore album this February
Just when I thought that February couldn't get any hotter, because of releases such as "Silent Hill: Downpour" or "Final Fantasy XIII-2"(yes I am a gamer and proud of it), here comes Ga-In and surprises me with a new album.
The beauty announced, she would be returning in February with her second solo album. She will be joining her other band-mates Jea and Miryo on that 2012 solo-train.
Unfortunately, there's no word on whether Narsha will be making a comeback with a solo record or not. But given the success that her first one was, it is pretty much a no-brainer and out of all solo projects, I loved hers the most. "Bbi Ri Bba Bba" is until this day, still my jam.
So let's see what Ga-In' will cook up for this next release, her 2010 mini album "2/4 step" was a complete departure from the general K-Pop scene with its Spanish and French tango influences. But adding up the music video to it, and her winning one music programm at Inkigayo made this a huge success for her.
Take a look at the video for "Irreversible", it's pretty much an 11 minute short-movie. It completely drowns the music, and some might think it's over the top and prefer the dance version of the clip. But it's one of K-Pop's best produced videos along with "Abracadabra".
